Tough start for Indoor team

by Ian Burrows 0 Comments

The indoor league team started their season against last year’s league 1
champions Burridge. After back to back promotions we expected things to be
tougher this season and with 3 squad members unavailable we struggled.
Burridge batted first and scored 176-1 in their 12 overs. Jinson Thomas on
debut was by far our most economical bowler. When we batted we managed
129-5 with Chris reaching 25 not out. I was not at the game but the
scorecard shows wides to have been our top scorer with 49! For those of you
who haven’t played indoors a wide counts as 3 runs and is not bowled again
(except in the final over).

Better luck in the next game on October 15th.
